Hello everyone! Marlon and I are still in Rockford, closing in on 35 years of marriage. Jessica left for college this fall. She is attending Carthage in Kenosha majoring in Biology in pre-med. Our oldest and his wife are expecting their first child in January, so we'll be grandparents. Nathan, our second son is a doctor in Portland,OR and is still single. The last four and a half years have not been good to us. Marlon was diagnosed with Multilple Myeloma (Bone Cancer) in January of 2005 and under went a stem cell transplant in September 2005. He now has stage IV non-alcoholic cirrhosis and hopefully will be able to get a new liver. This is very hard to take since MArlon has never smoked or drank. As for me, I work full-time for a group of OB-GYN doctors.
Marlon and I wish we were able attend the reunion but since we can't, I want to wish everybody a great time, have time, and enjoy yourselves. Hopefull it will be God's will that we will be able to attend the next reunion. Keep us in your prayers as we move forward.
